Athletic material with stretch – Exactly what my son needed for his sport to protect from the cold but still allow a helmet to fit over his head. Thin and stretchy athletic material, not fleece. He said it helped significantly with blocking the wind and adding comfort against the cold.

I never rode with a helmet til I bought one of these – My wife has a Heart attack every time I get on my bike and take off down the road with no Helmet. So she finally talked me into wearing a Helmet after two friends of ours were in accidents ( not at the same time) and it was not a good ending for either. So now I am full Helmet and it bothered me until I bought the face mask. Now I actually like wearing the helmet. Keeps the bugs out of my teeth.
