Buyer beware – Accurate reading but it is small. Recommend for a bicycle but not for a motorcycle. It won’t fit my handlebar just too small.

First one flew off of bike! – We ordered one, installed it according to instructions (it’s super simple anyway) but the first ride we took the thermometer abruptly flew off, leaving the chrome holder still attached to the bars. We ordered another one and this time added a dab of silicone to the back to hopefully make it stay put.

My first one did go bad after three years – Good time piece, and hides the fork nut.

Battery Needed Replacement. Unhelpful Customer Service – The clock kept stopping after an hour or so. Turned out the the battery was no good and I had to get a replacement. The second hand fell off when I opened it to change the battery. I contacted customer service after the fist day and told them the clock kept stopping – that it could be a weak battery. The said they needed more information but did not specify what they needed to know so I reiterated that it keeps stopping and I thought it was the battery. They never got back to me. I now have a working clock with no second hand and had to spend an extra $6 for the 377A batteries.

Thermometer was stuck at 80°F – These look great but I noticed the temperature said 80°F regardless of whether it was inside or outside so I took the back off expecting to change a battery. But instead of a battery the thermometer simply uses a coil of temperature sensitive wire- which is ok- no batteries to replace, although the coil looks a lot like a button battery. It turned out that the coil was rubbing against the inside backplate which is why it was stuck. The coil was mounted to a strip of copper with the ends bent up that is supposed to prevent the coil from rubbing against the back so to fix it simply required me to bend the copper a little more. After putting it back together, it was working except the measurement was about six degrees off. I took it apart again and noticed that the copper strip actually turned a little bit moving the indicator on the other side. I reasoned that’s how it was calibrated so I moved it to the proper position and snapped it back together and now I’m happy with it.

no – too small to read, so its just cosmetic, and this would be fine, except that compass housing would spin around by end of ride.

How do I adjust the time? – Looks great but how do I adjust the time from the clock????
