very bright – This light is just what I needed. I ride an electric unicycle and I wanted a light to attach to my helmet and this fits great.

Easy to install on my Modular LS2 helmet—see Update 8/31/22 – I have no complaints, no if you are turning it doesn’t blink fo that. I did go around the house with it running then stopped and it did turn red. I don’t have anyone following me to record the helmet activity. I jus wanted more visibility.. I like the options for the light. Easy to install easy to charge and it last a good time. Also turns off if you are dormant for too long.

A good addition for safety – I like the feature of this light and that it makes me more visible on the road. It has multiple light modes, it’s bright, and does not look to bad one the back of my helmet. It only has on button from where it can be turned on/off and switch between all the colorful light modes. It also does single colors.

A little bulky but actually pretty good. – This light, although a little bulky, is actually pretty good. It’s serves well to get people’s attention (for safety) and the brake light function works reasonably well. It has several flash patters and colors that seem unnecessary. It has 2-3 patterns that use red/blue light colors which may get you the wrong kind of attention from law enforcement (in most of the US at least) and are of questionable usability. If they cut down on the gimmicky colors and patterns and got rid of a little of the bulk and improved brightness, it would be a definite 5 for the money.

My favorite helmet light – Definitely a great helmet light. I definitely got a used one though since it has scratches and marks right out the box but it still works so it’s fine. The magnetic feature works great as I didn’t realize that was a feature until I opened it and the battery last a long time too. I’d definitely recommend this light as it’s definitely the best one I’ve had.

Great light but terrible adhesive – Bright light with cool strobe settings, but really poor mounting bracket adhesive. It literally fell off after a day even after proper cleaning w/ rubbing alcohol and a day of setting. Dont bother buying a replacement steelmate mount , just use some strong velcro tape instead. The G-sensor for braking doesn’t work well for EUC riding, but for the price, it’s better than having to pay hundreds for a Brake Free.

Human 3rd Brake Light! LOL! – Okay, I actually only have one light on the rear of my motorcycle, so I guess with would be properly declared as a “2nd” light (LOL). This item installs in minutes and works as advertised. Instructions are clear and there is a template to help center the device on your helmet. Adhesive holds the magnet on very securely and the magnet is super strong to hold the light on. I recommend cleaning the helmet area with alcohol to ensure strong adhesion. The light can be removed with some force without upsetting the magnet. I installed this in about 10 minutes and went out to test it at night with an observer. The observer stated every time I hit my brakes, the helmet light came on within a second or two. I did this several times going up the street and was told it worked each time. The light is very bright and can be seen at far distances. There are different colors/combinations (red, blue, orange, rainbow) to choose and various lighting patterns. You may want to check with your local ordinances on colors and some of the flashing patterns, since some of these can mimic emergency or police vehicles which may get you in trouble. The battery lasts a long time and there is an indicator that lights up the lights in a row to let you know the charge level when charging. Charging is via USB and the cord is provided. This unit will shut off to save the battery if no movement is sensed for a period of time. Overall, I think this is a nice safety device and it works very well. The unit is very sturdy and appears to be of very high quality all around. I recommend it.
