Might need to customize – bought for my 99 sportster 883 restoration project. Does not fit the cv40 correctly, the top of the mounting bracket needs to be ground down to clear the top of the carb. Also as a note the front screws for the “window” loosen due to vibration. ok for the money if your not looking to spend alot and are handy enough for a modification.

Very nice not plastic junk… – This fits a 02 buell cyclone m2 beautifully. This is not plastic junk it’s cnc aluminum very nice quality. Can’t beat it for the money. Because u can’t find air filters for a buell anymore but this works great.

Glass cracked after just a few rides. But looked great. – Needs rubber o-rings on each bolt attaching the glass. Also needs to not be actual GLASS?? Being a mechanic, I expected it to possibly crack and used loctite and put it all together finger tight. Started to see cracking after just 2 rides. It looks great, but I guess plexiglass might work better. Disappointing. Also spacers weren’t long enough, but I was able to use my originals. (96 Sportster 1200C)
