The tip doesn’t stay on – Installed this thing on my motorcycle. Next morning ride to work and when I got to work the top part was gone. I promptly returned this item. Looking on a motorcycle Facebook page that I follow, turns out a lot of other people had the EXACT same problem with the exact same item. You might want to pass on this one. I did however then purchase the bullet style one from the same seller and that one is staying put.
