WOW! It really is amazing… – Purchased a battery from a local auto parts store. Battery was built about 10 months ago. I figured even with the age of it sitting on the shelf in the store it would have enough capacity to start my car….then the car would bring it back to full capacity. (Remember that batteries slowly discharge about 5% a month… so this battery was likely about 50% full charge when purchased) Well, it was no where close to turning the motor over. Connected this little gem to it. I was presented with one RED light…meaning the battery was needing help. (the store said to bring it back…but the only other one they had in stock was the same vintage…lol). Let it sit over night and the next morning (about 12 hrs) all green. Hooked it up and away we went….it rocks.

Great charger – Used on Mercedes C300 – I wanted a charger to top up the battery in a Mercedes C300 once a week. I drive it daily but do not put many miles on it so figured I can charge the battery once a week to keep the battery fresh especially during winter. I originally bought the Genius 1 and while that worked great and charged the battery full no problem it just took way too long, I couldnt tell if the battery was full or still charging with just the single led light on that unit. I dont have a garage so end up running a 25′ extension cord out to the car which is why I wanted something faster.

There is no better product. – I have used the Noco Genius product line for years ranging from cars to motorcycles to boats. These products not only perform but will save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars in extended battery life. Given I live in a hot climate where batteries deteriorate quickly I have a jump starter and a battery maintenance charger for each car and motorcycle. I’m sure this applies to cold weather regions, too. There may be equivalent products out there but I will stay with this brand.

Didn’t come with a battery accessory Mount – Product works and has great features however was disappointed as It did not come with a trickle charge accessory Mount and had to buy to use for battery maintenance as my SAE is not compatible. Be aware you will need there NOCO accessory Mount for trickle charging… other than that I do like the battery restore function, but will have to see if it makes a difference.

Charger works well on various 6 and 12 volt SLA and lead acid batteries. Great to charge a dead car battery. It gives evidence of battery status and completion. Smaller size batteries it charges in a reasonable time frame. A larger car battery can take more time. Usually 8-16 hours. One needs to remember it’s a 5A charger. Also great for a battery maintenance.

Since the battery for this car is a side post, I went to walmart to buy side terminal charging posts. Took the battery out under the seat and fully charged it. Took about 15 hours to fully charge it. Once it was solid green on the Noco 5 I put the battery back in the car and it started right up. Great size and inexpensive charger when you need it.

Auto booster – This tool is what my son asked for and he uses it alot. Very convenient to have in any vehicle and comes in real handy for a lot of sorted things. From jump starting his car to pumping up tires. I think he said it will charge a phone to. He loves it. Have two more Sons to buy this for now. Love the smile on his face when he saw it

This is an amazing SMART charger in a small package. I used on a totally dead battery and this unit brought it back to full life in a few hours. Had a function to accomplish this. Also has indicator LEDs which were very helpful. Great product and I’d recommend.
