Cheap and simple – These were marked as fitting my 1984 Honda Shadow VT-500. However, I was only able to use them on the front. There was absolutely no way to install them in the rear without making major modifications to my bike. They also lack a third wire to allow you hook them up as running lights.

Very small – On my Honda Nighthawk 750, these lights are much smaller than the origonals. I was OK that they were shorter, because the longer ones keep breaking. But, the lense is much smaller too. Additionally, the origonal lights had 3 wires for the front turn signals, which allowed the turn signals to be front facing amber running lights. Now, I have no front running lights which is legal in Texas, but not everywhere. These turn signals also draw much less power than the old ones, which means they are hyper flashing ( flashing too fast), so I have to upgrade my flasher to a low power flasher relay (sold here on Amazon $7). Lastly, the wire length is about 8 inches too short to reach the harness for the rear flashers. So, I had to splice in some more wire. These lights do work, and I hope that they last a long time, but they are far from a good fit.

Crooked, Paint is not good scratches, smudges, runs, chipped – They were mounted on their studs crooked an the paint job came with runs, smears, chips and scratches fresh out of there individual bags. I’d hope I got the only bad set but quality control this bad and a misleading title sure most are the same.
