Jack doesn’t work real well. – Good price but pretty bad quality. I have to adjust the mic jack a lot before the sound works. I have to play with the jack a lot before sound clarity comes in right. Then I have to religiously try not to bump or touch it. and that can get irritating.

Missing parts – I purchased the first one and enjoyed it. The volume was far lower than it should have been for a motorcycle helmet, but overall, it wasn’t a bad product, so I purchased a second one for my second helmet. Unfortunately, it arrived without the foam spacers, so, while I can install it in my helmet, it is so far away from my ears that I have no way of hearing an already too low headset. Other than that, I have no complaints.

For music and phone this is a bargain – I bought this not expecting much but I needed a cheap comms unit for my commuting, I normally ride with a Cardo pack talk slim, however it is basically hardwired to my helmet. I needed a setup so I could easily remove the unit. I bought a second helmet for commuting and started looking for a cheap removeable comm. I found this one and watched a few promising youtube vids about it. Decided to purchase. It came with everything in the package. It looks like it will accept any standard stereo plug but I used the included ear pods and boom mic, the mic is pressed up against my helmet chin area so it is more like a button mic. The factory earpods are actually quite good sounding and that is based off comparison to the jvc units on my cardo. Call quality is clear and my wife said she cant hear engine and wind noise coming from my end so sound cancellation is good too. My music off my phone comes through clear as well, and I have been drenched in rain and the unit seems waterproof. All in all a nice little commuter option. Now for the “negatives” I cannot attest to how well this works in a group ride because I stick with my cardo for that. And I have noticed that sometimes you may have to turn it off and on a few times to get a good bluetooth connection. But it normally connects fine without issue. The connection issue may be related to how much battery power is left but that is just a guess. I have been using it for about three months now 3 to 5 times a week so it is doing well.
