Always check screws. – It seems that the screws come loose while going down the road. Lost both caps for the mast release mechanism. Works without those, however. I lost the mast from the first set I purchased and had to order a lone unit for a replacement. Use lock tight and check all bolt often.

Good quality – Good quality I like the idea that it folds down so I can put my cover on the bike but I Tap it in the middle and put a set screw because it kept moving that’s work good Make sure you put lock tight on all the screws

Not to shabby. – This flag kit ain’t bad but I’m sure there are better but for the money it’s worth it. The mount and flag pole seem sturdy. I followed directions and placed their tape under the mount, guessing to prevent scaring chrome, but when I went to tighten it, it would still move. I really had to crank it down to keep it from moving. Only other complaint is the flag is kept up on the pole by an o-ring on the bottom. Kind of a weird option. But my flag wasn’t sewn tight enough to prevent the flag from slinging over the o-ring and therefore allowing the flag to slid down the pole. My fix is to sew the flag pole hole smaller which will make it stay above the o-ring I hope.

Great support – I waited to write the review because the first one did not last 100 miles.

Screws come loose during riding. – Loved this flag when I got it installed on the bike. Followed the instructions to the letter including putting lock tight on the screw that connects the main pole to the bracket. Yesterday while riding through a rain storm to get home said screw decided to come loose and I lost my flag going down the freeway with no way to retrieve it.
