good maintainer – This is good for slow trickle charging the battery. The eyelet cable was too short so I bought 6 ft cable with eyelets. I attached the 6 ft cable to car battery then thread it to under car to have access without having to open the hood. Then I bought 20 ft cable without eyelets to extend the 6 ft cable to this trickle charger. I leave this on for days to always have fully charged battery. This is a slow charger suitable to continuously trickle charge the battery. This is not a fast charger.
