Decent Rack – It was not exact size but close enough to adapt. I drilled two new holes for it to mount level. Looks nice & the untrained eye would never know.

was not a perfect fit for my 2003 Yamaha Vstar 1000 – I had to drill two holes the predrilled holes did not match my mounting. was no big deal but this is why I only give 2 stars. not exact match as was represented.

Very sturdy and of good quality but does not fit 2007 Yamaha V Star 1100 – I needed to install a small luggage rack in my bike so as to strap small items to it that won’t fit in the saddle bags. I ordered this item following the description that it fits Yamaha V Star 1100. Once received I found out that the holes don’t align as to mount it in a horizontal position, instead it sits at about 40 degrees. Long story short I did not return it and went ahead and drilled new holes to fit it in properly; hence the 4 stars. Not a deal breaker by any means as it looks to be of very good quality and finish but it would have been great to just screw it in place and be done with it.

It was delivered late, 1/2 AFTER I left. The other reviews are spot on. Its more of a universal fit. It was about 3/4 inch too wide for my 2003 650 Vstar Classic. The angle between the rack and sissy bar is less than 90 degrees so my bag does not sit against my sisy bar in the bottom and hangs off the back more than I would like. I may be able to dremel the holes a little to change this. It is of sturdy construction and looks great installed.
