Well made, but fit is so-so…. – It looks good. It’s reasonably priced. It is well made with the exception of ‘perfectly’ fitting my fender. I have an ’05 Super Glide. I bought the bike used, so I’m not sure of all it’s history. The fender tip fit the curvature of my fender but did not make full contact with my fender. It only adhered along the bottom edge and sides. The top edge above the slots is not touching my fender at all. Not sure how long it will stay on…Could be 6 months, could be 6 years. Too bad because it looks great and adds the right splash of chrome to the front edge that matches my trailing edge fender extension. By the way, the picture is kinda confusing… what you see is.. the black thing is the double sided tape, pre-cut and shaped to fit the chrome piece below.

nahh – it sticks on like a sticker on double tape, i thought it was like a clip on , on the tip of the fender , it has double tape, i don’t think it worth more than $9……….

Did not fit my Sportster XL883L as stated it would. Only for narrow fenders! – The quality of this product is great. It is also easy to install as it has a double sided adhesive tape.

PATIENCE IS REQUIRED!! – Nice fender piece….but you can’t just take a couple minutes and stick it on….take your time and pre-fit to fender, and Mark with tape and measure if necessary. This is not an easy accessory to install CORRECT! Between the curvature of the fender, and the flare to the rear on each side, getting it centered and even on both sides, AND keeping double sided tape from lifting at the rear of molding, is a lot going on at once….because once you have it set, it is extremely hard to adjust! Just remove a little of the backing from tape at a time as you install. Good luck!

A small part that shouts “classy” in a big way !!!! Nice addition to my HD – Fast shipping and the chrome finish is excellent. It feels like metal and I’m sure it’s cast, but the quality is very good.

OK but probably better vendors… – Was shipped with the adhesive strips separate from the Tip…I checked the Kuryakyn website and that did not seem to be the norm…So I adhered the black side out to the Tip…On the same site it said to rub your finger around on the black side…It did not mention the cellophane covering on the black side…I found that and removed it and installed the tip…Also besides not coming with any directions the one on the Kuryakyn site comes with an alcohol pad and directions and its the same price for anyone who may be buying a 9015 fender tip…My guess is this one had been around for awhile….We’ll see if it works out…..
