      Lock Tight problem? – Problem. Screws that hold in the L brackets have had the lock tight lubricant on to long and would not let the screw seat well so it sticks up. Screw finally broke trying to get it to seat right. I even tried to take the lock tight off and failed. But thanks for Amzn. return policy, got my full refund.

      First time installing this cover on my 2001 HD dresser … – First time installing this cover on my 2001 HD dresser, would have given a 5 star, but noticed a slight twist in the cover where the back of the cover was secured flush, the front was raised 1/4 ” at one end. Pressing down the front when installing the last bolt was not a big deal.

      Perfect fit and looks great! – I have a 2016 Harley Road Glide CVO and installed this cover to add some additional chrome. I know that Kuryakyn products can be a bit pricey, but worth it. Not only was the installation a breeze, but it comes with instructions, all mounting hardware and it looks great! I have purchase other chrome pieces from China to see what the quality is like, and it is hit or miss. Sometimes its great but other times, the finish is not as good (you can see some machine marks where the metal was not perfectly smooth under the chrome). Sometimes, they dont come with all of the mounting hardware and almost all of the time, they dont come with instructions. So I pay the extra money for ensured quality, and knowing that I wont be banging my head against the wall trying to find hardware and guessing at installation instructions. Save your time and headache! Pay the extra $50! You wont be sorry!

I tried for about 5 minutes to twist and angle the piece but it would not drop into place until I removed the wind deflector. The instructions indicate the correct torque when tightening the included screws.
