Easy install, looks great! – I had to scrape off the original mounting tape and replace it as it wouldn’t stick. I think it may have been old stock and had dried out. I bought some 3M mounting strips and they did the trick. After that, it went right on easily and really dresses up the front end! It’s definitely worth buying as there are no modifications to your bike and you can always remove it later if you change your mind.

Make sure surfaces are clean and you put pressure on the adhesive for as long as the directions say. – Overall, I like the product. the instructions did not specify that this piece fits directly over the original molding for the vent opening, so I took the old molding off and then things did not fit right, So I figured out that this piece fits directly over the old molding. I had to replace the adhesive tape and then place it over the existing molding.

Preparation of surface for mounting chrome grille – Instruction were clear as to preparation, installation, and care. Contact material was sufficient for mounting. Make sure to clean surface good and have temperature of surface and attachment well above the 50° degree temp. noted.
