Design problem – Fork angle makes turn signal not be level with surface after mounting

… just to have a lens bezel replacement for one like it I bought months earlier – I bought this set just to have a lens bezel replacement for one like it I bought months earlier. But it seems the size of the bezel changed and it took a trip to Home Depot to get a longer screw to fit it. Its a good product for the price nonetheless.

Go to the HARDWARE store – The bar looks great on my 2005 Yamaha V-Star 1100 Classic and mounts well under the head light mount. The bad thing is it is constructed a little on the CHEAP side. Go to your local hardware store and get Nylon nuts and get led bulbs for the spot lights cause the original bulbs are not very bright.

Important!! Read before purchasing. – This product is very cheap and not worth the $52 I spent. The mount and turn signals are metal while the head lights are a very cheap plastic, the chrome coating will flake and the light is not much brighter than a candle.

The good and the bad – Let’s be honest look at the price I expected exactly what I got light bar metal turn signal seems to be metal your driving light is chrome plastic and Len’s is light is as bright as maybe some light in a car small amount of light but I got it to be a little more visible to other people I figure every little bit helps if you go into it with that expectation you will probably be ok with it

Works great! – Great light bar for the price. The bracket doesn’t fit the VStar 1100 but with some cutting and welding, it works.

You get what you pay for. – Thankfully I had a light bar that was compatible with this kit, as the one that came with this did not fit my 2004 Yamaha V-Star 650. The passing lights are plastic while the turn signals have a metal housing. That plastic will shatter in a crash, it is not meant to survive impact. Thankfully, these headlights are very cheap and complete the look I wanted well. The biggest complaint I have is that they’re extremely dim in the mornings and afternoons, and at night they’re about as bright as a dying flashlight.
