      3rd generation Yamaha xt250 replacement – This is a perfect fit for a Yamaha xt250, at least the third current generation. The hardest part is staying clean during an oil change. I don’t know how I’m always making a mess of myself.

      Read before buying – I usually dont write reviews, but in this case I will. Purchased 2 oil filters for yzf 250. One worked perfect. The other filter must have an issue. It pressurized my motor and shot the oil out the breather tube. My son was driving it and didn’t realize that in 20 minutes all the oil was ejected from the motor. Yes I had it in the right direction. I’m a little pissed off to say the least. I do preventative maintenance to make things last longer. Now because of this faulty oil filter I could be looking at 2000.00 in damages!!! I put the other filter I bought from you in, and that one worked fine. 50/50 chance with these I guess… I will never purchase a filter from this site again. Heed my warning to all those looking for oil filter. Go to yamaha and buy one from them.
