Great product – I was pleasantly surprised with the quality compared with how much it cost. The installation was simple and it looks great. It holds the phone very securely and automatically starts the wireless charging with the added plus of having the plug in option.

The mount is secure – The phone gripping mechanism leaves me uneasy. I have a thin phone case, and it bare fits this mount depth-wise (the clamps open really wide, though). There is no feeling or sense of “locked in place” — you just turn the knob until you can’t anymore. If you wire this to the ignition circuit, you won’t have any worries about draining the bike’s battery; I don’t ever touch the on/off switch (but it’s a nice feature). The tool-less installation is nice, but I can’t get it tight enough (the phone will fall down under interstate speed wind — no windscreen) due to the size of the thumb lock and other stuff mounted to the handlebar. You can fast-charge two things at once.

works great – the actual handlebar clamp works great but can shake and vibrate somewhat on the connection to the gimbal being plastic, I installed it on a can am and drilled a hole through the metal socket that holds the charger and is solid as a rock, and works great. time will tell is it holds up to the elements, I cover my bike, so its not going to get wet unless I am riding and I get rained on, and it’s supposed to be water resistant to some point.

If you have a big bike you need to strap your phone down!!! – This is a great product easy to install and wire but I took it out on a ride and even though it was tight the phone managed to vibrate out of the holder. If you have a big bike or one that vibrates a bit you might want to add some protection. Phones aren’t cheap so do what you need to make sure it doesn’t come out, maybe use a strong rubber band over the top of the phone. One nice thing is I left it on overnight and my battery still started the bike. It does not have auto-off so you have to manually turn it on and off. The wire could be longer but I have an eight-foot Big Dog and it fits just right.
