Excellent – These are really well-made, sturdy, and attractive. I have hard lowers I intend to mount in the winter, so these are for chilly mornings and rainy days. The hard lowers rise above the engine guard bar, so give more protection to the knees, but these keep most of the cold air off and keep rain from going up your pants leg. They mount in about 20 seconds and remove in about 10 – one wide strap on each side to wrap around the frame downtube with a plastic snap to hold it on. I have those bar guards on for low-speed cone practice, and the way these mount keeps that from being a problem. Some have expressed concern that the right strap may be too close to the exhaust. If you’re riding in hot weather and never remove them, that might be an issue (not sure), but for cool and cold weather and rain it hasn’t been for me so far. If it looks like it’s affecting the nylon, I may wrap a bit of aluminum tape around that section.

Helps in blocking the wind – I liked the way it blocks the wind on your lower legs and your face also

Don’t buy for cobra fatty freeway bars. They’re way too small. – Darn good little chaps for 40$.. but they’re made to fit exactly what it says in the description. I seen the shape was the same as my bars and thought it’d fit but no dice lol. I got a 03 vtx 1800r with the cobra fatty freeway bars on it and these didn’t even begin to fit. Nothing ever fits this dang bike
