Scratches paint – Bought this for my CBR, then i realized that its a plastic shell over the tank unlike my other bike. Put it on my other bike with a metal tank, worked as needed. However if your not careful when removing, or just moving it in general it will scratch your paint.

Works great! – It holds onto my Harley gas tank very well. I’ve only gotten it up to about 85 but the case didn’t budge at all. The touch screen is OK at best but I just want to be able to see my GPS and don’t fool with my phone while riding.

Decent magnetic tank phone holder – Just did a 2600 Mi ride on my FJR 1300. That being said this little phone magnetic tank holder did a very good job and never moved from where I put it. I was at times at a fairly good rate of speed let’s just say and it never budged but then again the bike has a very tall aftermarket windshield. I do not know nor could I recommend this magnetic tank phone holder without the use of a windshield to block a large amount of the wind. However, if you are riding with a windshield I will say that this product will hold your phone securely where you put it on your tank and not move. I think 2600 miles is a pretty good test ride to see how it performs overall. I would purchase this product again.

stayed strapped to the tank even in an accident – Bike and I got hit and lofted about 30ft. after I came to my senses and knew i wasnt dying I saw my phone was still in place strapped to the tank. Dont worry, this phone case isnt going anywhere.

Great on my dual sport – Hard to charge (one of my bikes has a USB port) with this case and a bit difficult to slide the phone in, I generally have to open the thing up and put it through the elastic strap and in the little mesh holders at the top and bottom. However this fit on my 1986 Suzuki SP125 and my tao 250 no problem. I like that the magnets kinda snap under (you keep them out to the side while riding) if you grab it. Stays solidly on my bike and easy to swap to a different one. Touchscreen not so good. Also, my pixel 3 fit pretty snugly in here and boyfriend’s Samsung cover pro did not fit at all. Bigger phones will need to find something else. Overall a good purchase for me though!
