My husband – This is a easy fix to keep your motorcycle safe! My husband stated this was easy installing. He looking it up on YouTube and decided to go with the drill out the hole that the manufacturer brake box. Now I can feel comfortable about going somewhere and my motorcycle will still be there when I come back out.

Great Upgrade – I can’t really write a proper review because I haven’t installed it yet which is why I gave the easy to install only 3 stars. My bike is stored away for now and when it gets warmer I will do the install.

Almost impossible to install – This problem with this is not the products fault. The product itself is nice. Great textured surface and would look great if you could actually install it without tearing apart your world. The issue is the top bolt. The design of the Ryker (not the product) make this nearly impossible to get to without violating the space-time continuum and several other laws of physics. What I found is that same as what others have found; pull out the lock (or just buy the lock alone) and install it into the existing plastic as it will save your sanity and whole bunch of hours of frustration.

Difficult to install – I could not use the new cover because I could not get to one of the screws so I drilled out the old cover, put in the new tumbler and it works great.

Opening the clamshell is the key to install – Installing this lock and cover itself was interesting. The instructions provided indicate you can reach both screws holding the cover down with no issue. That is not the case, you must open the clamshell of the Ryker to get to that top screw. Once you do, it installs within seconds. I did not have to drill any holes to make it work. Opening the clamshell is the key.
