Iron owners beware – Fits and works great on my 2018 Iron 883. Bought the led wiring harness (70683-08) for $10 from Harley and used with the included electrical clip. Followed current tail light wiring and utilized existing under fender wire clips for running wires from rear fender to seat area. Electrical hookup attached right up with no splicing etc needed at all. Rear tire clearance with light is close though. LED provides additional visibility to my rear tail at night for safety. At total price for light ($10 harness) and light itself ($15) around $25, great cost savings versus comparable Harley kit at $100.

Easy to wire – Plenty bright enough. Looks good. However wont fit underneath sportster rear fender without modification. Like 1 inch to long.

Not to bad!! – Brake light was packaged very well, as I was reading some of the reviews a lot said that there were wires that were pulled from inside of light. I did not have this problem also, there was no need to J-B Weld or epoxy hold the wires hat were coming out as a stopper was in the package as well that went inside of the hole to keep water from going inside light. Very good light for the value! The only Con that I can see is that when you apply brakes the light does not get much brighter than it already is as a running light. All-in-all it was deff worth the money!!

Get heavy duty double sided tape – Light works pretty good. I set it up as an extra brake light not a running light. It isn’t super bright but it is an extra, not my main light. Don’t use that double sided tape it comes with, just get the most heavy duty double sided tape you can get and it will hold fine. Has for me for the past month or so.

Not enough clearance for some – Was really solid for like one week lol but if you live in California some of these freeways will make that light be gone in less than a week. The clearance just isn’t enough for my stock for Harley 48 the tire ate that light quick

For my sportster 1200 CC 2000 – It fit on the bike just as an FYI you guys should add a little tape or something on the cables , since this bikes vibrates a lot and the weather etc etc .. Its just like a heads-up but It was easy to Install and looks amazing on the bike

Fair if you modify a bit. – When I got it it was for a project bike. I figured for the price if I needed to modify it and it didn’t work out no big deal. Arrived on time, packaged well. One of the 3 wires was pulled from the inside. I decided to move forward with the mod anyway. I used it for fitment with intention to replace at the installation time. When that was done I went to re attach the wire. The unit is glued together and removing the screws will not get you inside. I cut the lenses free with a rotary tool to access the inside. Once in I could clearly see the issue. The wires are lightly soldered to a circuit board and the one that was loose didn’t get connected correctly. I also noted that the wires are not secured in any way to prevent them from being pulled free. Tho the unit seems sealed it is not moisture can get in where the wires come out. With that said and gaining the knowledge I now have I gave it 3 stars. If you read this and are handy I would not hesitate to get one. I did get a replacement one ordered. I took it out of the box, all 3 wires attached. I tested it and it worked. I then mixed up some jb weld epoxy, pushed an inch of the wire back into the housing and epoxied them in. Tested after it cured lit right up and you can’t pull the wire out.
