Cheap part, but fine if you’re good with tools – My biggest complaint is that the plate light is very dim until you hit the brakes..yes the same board and LEDs that run the brake light just shine through a different section of plastic as the plate. A little annoying but for the price it is what it is.

You might need to make it work – It looks great and does the job great. License plate is light pretty decent and the parking light and break light are great to. Problem is that the led light is not fixed to the breaklight housing very well at all. I had to use a good amount of super glue to get it to stay put. Also the red lense for the break is not a good fit and has openings around the edges. I used 3m foam tape to make a better seal so it wouldn’t move around and also not allow water to get in. I then drilled two super tiny holes in the bottom so condensation would not build up in it.

You can just bolt it on but it won’t last a long time , needs work to last – I gave it 4 stars. It’s about what you would expect for the money. The outside housing is metal as is the bracket and plate holder. The LED running light is kinda dim the brake light is average. The lights both use the same LEDS so there isn’t a huge change between running a brake light. I would say not as good as a regular incandescent bulb. The LEDS setup is made from the the old incandescent set up the bulb holder is flipped around and the LED PCB is attached w screws to the reflector of the old bulb. It’s not that robust, I can see how the one reviewer said his vibrated apart. The wires have no strain relief and the whole assembly is not very weatherproof. Why did I give it 4 stars? I converted it back to incandescent, weather proofed it and addressed the other issues now it’s a nice looking metal housing light that’s clearly visible and works well. So for the price 4 stars, I didn’t expect it to be a high quality unit and it’s not but with some effort it’s a good unit. I am happy w mine and i would buy it again. I did modify it to make it what i wanted.

Love the light very well made – Si o received my light it’s very well made I just had a issue with the leds but let me tell you there customer service is amazing within hours they replied to my email and sent me out a new one. This light on the bracket is very bright and looks so good on my 86 Honda shadow vt500 I’m very pleased with it I would definitely buy again.(update) after 827 miles it has held up perfect didn’t get loose and the bracket is as strong as day one the bad review saying the bracket broke is because you have to make sure its flushed to the base were you tighten it if not your bending it and causing to much stress I have purchased 2 more for my family as xmas gifts..
