Portable, compact but slow – This is a rechargeable tire inflator. It is great to keep in the car in case of a tire emergency. I like that it isn’t heavy and that it is thin and easy to store in the car. There is a connector that screws onto your tire stem and you turn it on by pressing down a few seconds and you set the desired pressure level and then hit the power button once more and it begins to inflate your tire. My tire was low on air about 4 pounds and it took about 7 minutes to inflate it. It does take a while to put air in the tires but if you don’t want to go to the gas station, it is worth it. It did not get hot. The directions said not to use more than 10 minutes at a time and that it needs to cool off. I am glad I didn’t need to inflate all of my tires because that would take a long time to do so. I like that there is a light to see on this. I also like that it tells you a pressure reading of your tire so you know if it needs air or not.

I topped up three SUV tires from 30 to 36, each taking about 5 minutes. I pumped up the fourth tire with a bicycle pump which was definitely faster but more work. I also pumped up a trailer tire from 48 to 60 which took about 8 minutes. I started on the other trailer tire and the battery gave out. Seems like quite a bit of run time on the battery though. The air hose and nozzle never got hot. It seems well built and sturdy. I just wish it pumped faster.

Works great to inflate bike tires and balls. A little heavy. – I am an avid mountain biker and wanted this pump to replace my hand pump when I go riding. This battery operated pump made quick work of bike tires and a basketball that has seen better days. No more hand pumps for me! It’s a bit heavier than I anticipated, so instead of keeping it in my hydration pack, I’ll probably find a way to mount it to my bike frame. All in all, a good investment.

Not good for inflating car tires. – I got this because I have a sports car that sits in my garage and the tires will lose air after a while. I found trying to inflate the tires with this pump actully let out more air than it put in. I will not be using this for my car. Probably better for bicycles.
