Good for the money – Put it on a 00 Road King first. No windshield, loud pipes. Hear it up to about 35-40 MPH. Then put on a 98 heritage with windshield and cobra pipes. Hear it till about 55-65. Good if putting around not made for high speeds and loud pipes. But it is descent for the money

Sound quality lacks enough bass – Received the radio and had issues with the mounting brackets provided. Created my own to mount it and found you have to hold down the volume buttons too long to raise or lower the volume. If you don’t hold them down long enough, the radio channel changes. Also seems to drain the battery too quickly due to maintaining the radio memory or time. Not impressed with it.

It’s pretty good for the price, but I also see a flaw. – I bought this and had it installed by my Mechanic I go to so it’ll turn on and off as I turn the bike on and off. I’m not sure how this might drain the battery because of the clock on it but that’s not an uncommon thing when you get something like this. The sound is pretty good. With a good sized windshield I can even hear this at highways speeds. I can connect to it easy, and the quality is pretty good. This is all given the price of it. Money for what you get is worth it.

Its the bang for the buck – So I bought this for my roadking as an inexpensive trial run to see if I wanted to invest in a full on system. It does not take long to install, and I have a tiny USB drive that I use most of the time. Have ridden about 3k miles with it so far including two trips from Virginia down 95 to Florida.

This is the perfect audio sound system for my Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Classic – It took me longer to remove my old system than it did to figure out how to install the new GoHawk on my motorcycle. The instructions are clear and simple to understand. The installation is easy. I was concerned that the wiring might be an issue but it was as easy as can be! In my case I ran the wires under my instrument console, under the leather bra on the gas tank and directly to the battery. It’s a very clean installation. My old system had separate speakers so it was not nearly as neat and clean of an install as this GoHawk. The sound is very good for a system in this price range. I had no trouble hearing the music at speeds of 65-70. Above 70 the wind and road noise begin to drown out the sound, even at maximum volume. My old system was the same way. For the money, it’s the go to system in my opinion.
