So close… But maybe nott for motorcyclists. – I like this mask, and yet I don’t (for my application). I ride sport bikes and I’m one of those who dresses up like I’m out to save the world or be the day’s top super villain. So I normally wear a dickie as well as a wrap-around ski mask under my helmet. The dickie and mask have worn out so the wind is winning the battles. I normally don’t leave the office until about 2am (yes, workaholic) and it’s about mid-40’s at night/mornings, so I need to depend on this gear.

Worked kind of – It has the nose shape right but the over the head part was confusing. It never want to go on again after sliding it off when we stopped. Overall it worked in a pinch but I will be looking for a better quality one next snow season.

Warning! Terrible! NO RETURNS! Amazon did refund me after *much effort*. – I don’t often bother to write reviews, and I very rarely return things, but I felt I had to review this item for the sake of other potential buyers. Like other reviewers, I found this balaclava to be unusable and UNRETURNABLE! I DID GET A REFUND through Amazon, but it was pretty hard to figure out how to do i, and it was within 30 days of purchase: I could not use the “return or replace an item” button, I had to click on the 3 little lines, then “Contact Customer Service” which took me to their AI bit chat, which told me “no returns” again and tried to end it there, so I said I’d like to ask more questions/speak to Customer Service. I was offered a call back or online chat, so I asked to chat with an actual human, who did agree to refund me for the purchase at least. But back to the balaclava: 1st it smells terrible! I’m not sure what’s on it, but I don’t feel safe wearing it, even if washed! I had it on for less than 10 seconds before I realized there was no way it was usable. 2nd it was *way* smaller than expected, and the part that is supposed to sit on my nose doesn’t sit flat on my face at all – it sticks out and is sewn funny. 3rd, there are “NO RETURNS” which I still don’t see marked on the listing *and* despite the seller making a comment in the Q&A that they **offered returns and a lifetime guarantee**. Here’s the quote from GearTOP customer service in the Q&A section on Amazon (as of 03/05/2021): “You should give it a try to see for yourself! If you find the mask is not a perfect fit, or not what you are looking for, you can return or exchange the mask anytime with out [SiC] lifetime warranty! Great for Snowsports – I wore it over the course of the week for various activities in 20-30degF weather. It was plenty warm when snowboarding, snowmobiling, and generally anything outside without being overly hot.

Would be great if you wear a men’s size medium helmet – I wear a size large ski helmet, motorcycle helmet, and large hats, spin expected the one size fits all to be a bit snug. It was, but after stretching it for a while it works fine.
