A little fragile, costume only – These have really weak areas where the strap attaches to the goggles so they should be used for lite costume wear only, not as any type of protective goggle. They look cool with costume pieces.

Lenses fog too easily – I got these goggles for a family Halloween costume. I was Romeo from PJ Masks. After wearing the goggles for 1 minute, they immediately began to fog. I went outside and walked with them to see if airflow would clear the fogging, but it got worse.

Good for cosplay, sketchy for riding a motorcycle – I’ve refused to wear helmets, despite having several wrecks. Now that you know I’m an idiot, I’ve worn so many types of goggles. Some disintegrate in months, some fog up like a mf when it’s humid. These are more suited to cosplay than actual use. They fog up almost instantly, so you would need to put an anti-fog agent on the inside before you used them. I mean, they look cool, and feel pretty comfortable? Let’s see how they work on the road.

anti scratch/reflective coating is solid – I bought both black and copper frames with the intent of dying the polycarbonate lenses green as I have with other lenses in the past. Boy did they ever put up a fight. The lenses popped out fairly easily on the black frames but were very difficult to remove from the copper frames, I’m surprised they didn’t break!! I needed to remove the outer coating for the dye to work – sanding proved to be too ineffective even with a dremel (I didn’t need to see through them as they were for a costume piece with LEDs installed.) Etching cream worked like a charm but by then I had already made too many mistakes and wasn’t happy with the results. Pictured is some inferior plastic I ended up having to resort to. Hopefully I can order more lenses because I would like to get it right! All in all, they are fantastic quality – especially for $15.

Fine, just keep your eyes on the bridge – They were comfortable, and they lasted a couple of weeks, which is longer than another review said, but I stopped paying attention to the bridge, and it did end up snapping, but only the foam. If I get my hands on a small enough bolt, they’ll be usable again.

Exactly what we needed! Historical Costume Accessory Success! – We picked up these vintage-look motorcycle goggles for a theatrical production of Failure: A Love Story by Philip Dawkins, which is set in 1928. One of the main characters, Jenny June, is a competitive lake swimmer in Chicago.
