Not quite right – I’m gonna start with pros because there are some that deserve kudos. I ride a Honda cb450 and my top speed is about 70mph. Even at 55 these goggles kept my eyes dry. I’m so sick of the tearing up and being blind at lower speeds. Comfort is good bc the pads on the inside keep your face from being dented in for the entire day! Also, they look super cool. Cons: too wide! I wear a 3/4 helmet and the goggles were constantly being pushed toward the center of my face making an odd gap in the nose area. these would work much better with a skull cap type of helmet where there is nothing in the way of the goggles going wide on your temples! Forget trying to wear it with a full face too! A narrower frame would be all that is necessary to make these a perfect Moto goggle. I also am partial to arms on a goggle instead of a head strap. Nothing is more annoying than fixing the strap an then putting the helmet over and the strap getting pushed down again! And no, you can’t wear the strap on the outside bc the goggle are so wide they will pop out over the helmet and leave big gaps, making them totally useless for wind resistance! I ended up getting a padded goggle with arms instead, so I can just slide them on after my helmet is in place.

Cute, not durable, cosplay goggles – Works great for cosplay, but not very sturdy; decorative bits fell off almost immediately. Not for actual cycling, doesn’t protect eyes and reduces actual vision.

Really mediocre for work, but stylish – I’m a landscaper who uses riding mowers daily. I bought these a week ago and so far they’re holding up okay for the quality, aside from a few issues. These are pretty cheaply made, but the price should tell you that already. I bought the black pair with smoke lenses and in terms of sun protection, it’s about as good as the plastic sunglasses you’d buy at a dollar store. The strap itself works well enough, it doesn’t budge or become loose for me. That small metal bar that stretches between the lenses? It came off after twenty minutes of riding mowing. I don’t even go tearing around like a motorcyclist, the max speed I hit is probably 10mph, and upon close inspection I realized why it came off so easily. It’s only held in place by two small slots that it tucks into, and a tiny hole on each end that clicks onto a small metal dot that is way too short to actually keep it in place. Then there’s the facial fitting: no matter how tight I make it, these just won’t seal around my face. A sharp sliver of wind is always tickling my eyes when I mow, and while I thought tucking a bandana into the space to fill it would help, it only makes the lenses fog up like crazy. Grass and dust also leak in. Even without a bandana, these frequently fog up for me. Additionally, the strap is pretty thick so my ears get crushed if it slips too low on my face. Wearing my ear protection does help with this, but I can’t wear my usual baseball cap at the same time because it tugs the strap down low and pushes on my ears. So far, wearing a beanie instead has fixed this problem. I can see why people like these for cosplay, though, and I do like riding around looking like a steampunk worker. They’re okay for me for now, I just doubt they’ll last long.

A Toy, Not a Tool – Picked these up with the smoky lens. I did not receive them super quickly, but that was not a huge concern. They look pretty good, but even just after putting them on I was sure they would do very little to protect me. The plastic is flimsy and the materials do not seem like they would take well to daily abuse. Much of the chrome you see in picture is actually plastic and very little of it is actual metal (only the middle piece above the eyes is actually metal. Everything else seems to be plastic). The things look like they would make for a great costume, but terrible actual goggles. If you are looking for something cheap, pretty, and effective, you can only get cheap and pretty here, although they do block the wind better than nothing. Overall not a bad purchase as long as you just need the prop, not actual sport level protection.

completely eliminates dust when cutting the pasture AND vision is great – I have a pasture that has to be cut like a yard due to where I live. In summer dust is terrible from the ground and also the fire ant mounds that abound in the South. Regular sunglasses do not keep dust out of my eyes, so I went looking for these WW2 British aviator goggle reproductions because there is a tight, but comfortable seal that is made around the eyes that eliminates both dust and sweat. by adding a good bandana or cheap dust mask, I am all sealed up from the allergens that are kicked up when I cut the pasture.

TWD Princess Goggles – For costume purposes, these goggles were PERFECT for my Princess (The Walking Dead) costume. I’ll use them for blowing leaves because they’re good and comfortable.
