Did not come in good shape – I love the trunk and I am going to keep it but the paint job was lousy and chipped in places, and the lock was put in crooked with the O ring pinched between the mounting hole and the lock. I have a similar one but smaller not as nice as this one but the paint and the cheap lock was installed right. Like I said I love the trunk and I fixed the lock. and it makes my Honda ST1300 look great.

A nice, decent looking, sturdy case. – This is a gem of a find. I wanted the factory top case for my bike (2022 Kawasaki KLR650 Adventure), but it’s several hundred dollars by the time you buy all the parts you need to actually install it. This case does the same exact thing, is bigger than factory, looks better, is easier to install and comes with everything you need, minus maybe some shorter screws, as in my situation. I can’t believe this case was under $100 ready to go. Other reviews complain about certain things, but for the price you cannot beat this. You’re not going to get a $400 case for $100, so don’t expect $400 case features. This works great and does its job well, fitting my huge adventure bike helmet with room to spare. Money well spent, my friends. Keep the extra coin to fuel your adventures.

Installed in 15 minutes – This box is HUGE! It was pretty easy to install. Took me less than 30 minutes. And it matches the color of my scooter. Seems sturdy enough. So far so good.

Great trunk but doesn’t fit 2 helmets! – Got this trunk it looks great it installed fairly easy. One thing I don’t like is the back rest is straight up instead of the original trunk on my bike leaned little bit back. Also it does not fit too full size helmets. This is the second trunk I’ve ordered and neither one fit two helmets! I now have the extra storage I need for my trip out west, but it still doesn’t hold 2 FULL FACED HELMETS. This is the size I was looking for just bummed my helmets don’t fit. Color matches well I went with silver. Wish there were a way to put lights in the back; the reflective tape isn’t too reflective. For safety reasons I’d like to light up the back of my bike.

A good bargain for a topcase – I was hesitant to buy this based on some of the negative reviews however, for the price, I decided to take a chance on it. I have to say, this topcase FAR exceeded my expectations! It’s actually quite sturdy, the fit & finish is very acceptable, and it was super-simple to mount (although I did buy different bolts to attach the case to the included plate). For under $100, this topcase is a terrific value. Now, it’s not Monokey quality but it is also a 1/4 of the price of a Monokey. With the exception of arriving damaged, the folks that are so harsh on their reviews of this topcase don’t have very realistic expectations considering the low price paid. I’m glad I bought this topcase and if it only last 2-3 years, I’ll still feel like I got a good value.
