hawk 250 – If you have a chinese hawk 250, this is a must have! The stock shifter is welded and can bend or break. This will fold away and bounce back! If your a serious rider- you need it. Dont be a nancy. Buy it and get out there and take it up a notch!

They thought “How can we make this impossible to install”. – Everything is good except for literally the bolt having no proper size for an Allen key and wrench and impossible placement for a socket.

DONT use if you will be doing any woods riding/racing – Its a good cheap alternative for those that ride around the yard but any type of trail riding or racing- STAY AWAY. It only lasted 2 rides until wearing out on the shifting gear. I was 5 miles deep in the woods when it started to fall off my bike. I had to leave it in 2nd gear and limp back to the truck. It also has much more flex in the shaft and hit the frame while pressing down on my YZ 250. Had to throw it away and stick with stock. My fault for buying a cheap knockoff.

Junk – This thing wasn’t on my bike for two days and it completely stripped out!!! I was trail riding and I went to down shift to go up a long hill and when I did the shifter was gone!!!! Alls I could see is metal shavings!!!

Fits pre 2005 yz models as well! – Perfect fit for my 04 Yz250. Seems to be well worth the money. Feels a little bit more comfortable than stock to me as well. Just a subtle difference in feel but I love it!
