Perfect for motorcycle! – This saved my calves in the Texas summer! I’m a girl with a big bike which in turn has hot pipes. The heat radiates from pipe and concrete. I had weird calf rash on right leg a few times then got this. I wear it under pants leg, a friend where’s hers on both legs over her leggings.

This works, but … – This really works to keep the heat off of your leg while riding. The only downside is you have to be sure to place it just right on your leg because the heat resistant patch area could be a few honeycomb sections larger to cover more of your leg which would really be better, this is the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I wear it under my jeans, it is very comfortable and you barely know it is there.

Does what it says – The product works…..Warmed up my Harley while doing landscaping work in my yard which is in a hot tropical region. Pulled the sleeve onto my leg to move the motorcycle from one area of the property to another,purposly placing my calf on the hot stove like muffler and….

Comfy Heat Shield – I was very surprised today wearing this heat shield for the very first time in 100 Degree F temperatures. The shield worked better than I expected and kept my calf from burning and having to constantly move my leg away from the heat of the pipe.

Great addition to riding gear – I’m a small female and ordered the small size – first time putting it on, I was concerned it would slip as it’s not super tight. Turns out that’s a good thing! It’s not right but also stays in place. 100% recommend this for anyone who hates the hot leg syndrome of motorcycles. Wish I had it on my 2,800+ mile ride I just took. Will wear it every ride from now on!

It definitely works! – It works great. I like long motorcycle rides. I always where long pant jeans no matter. Felt no heat at all on leg until after 4 hours. Then it was not bad at all. What a pleasure to finally not have to wear 1/2 chaps while riding. I’m 5’3” 130 lbs and the 12.5-16 was a perfect fit I don’t know why but was expecting two. One for each leg. I felt it was a little pricey, but then isn’t everything these days.

It’s worth it – If you are a beginner this would be good to have. I wish i had this before i burned my leg on the bike exhaust. Needless to say I’m super caution of the pipe after the fact but i still wear it under pants or with pants that maybe short 5 or 8″ above the ankle just in case.
