Solid product, Silent Alarm!? – The disc lock came early which was a nice surprise…however, the description of this lock specifically mentions it having an Alarm. But with no included instructions, I cannot determine how to activate it, and I’m suspicious of it having one at all. I’m awaiting an answer and will post an update soon I hope.

Poorly constructed – These were produced I suspect by hand (a shaky one) the grove didn’t fit over my brake disc at first. When I took a look it was obvious that the grove was unevenly cut into the medal. I had to clamp it down and recut it with my chop saw. Piece of crap.

Great price and super simple and effective rotor lock. – Seems solid and when on the rotor the bike isn’t rolling anywhere. If two guys want to pick up and steel my 900lb bike then they can have it. Fortunately my bike isn’t all tricked out but none the less I don’t want to make it any easier than necessary for someone to go on a joy ride. The lock is heavy and the locking mech is smooth.

Use to lock up motorized bicycle – I use this as added protection, with my normal lock and a throttle lock, on my motorized bicycle when I am going to be in somewhere for a while. I don’t use the orange cable so it is more stealth.
