Could use more straps! – I’ve used this on my road bicycle for 3 summers and have been very happy. My only complaint is that over that time I’ve broken all the straps that came with it and apparently can’t buy more. That said, I’ve ordered the new version without straps so obviously I love the product but hate getting a new one when this one is in great shape.

Sturdy – Use it on my harley and holder stays firm no matter how windy it gets. Only flaw, and it’s a very small flaw, is that the straps that hold the phone is very short which makes it a little difficult to wrap around it but like I stated, it’s a small flaw

Not perfect with a pop socket in use – I think it’s way sturdier and more dense of a metal structure than I expected. If it is to be used in tandem with a pop socket, then a space needs to be routed into the base plate to accept the nearly quarter of an inch displacement. Overall, great quality for the price. Maybe I should get another phone case just for riding because the pop socket adhesive would be rendered useless if taken off every time.

A Seriously Solid Bike Mount for Your Phone – Design 5/5 – The way this bike mount was constructed allows it to hold a variety of phone sizes. I was able to mount a Samsung S6 and an S8 Note — both with a pop socket — easily. The mounts of the side are spring-loaded, and they offer a considerable amount of tension to keep your phone safely mounted. On the corners of the mount are rubber elastic bands. The loops forming the top join together to form a single band, and the loops on the bottom form a single band as well. These bands were able to easily stretch over my phones, even with a pop socket and a thick phone case. The bands do not obstruct anything important on the screen with my phones, such as the home button, back button, etc., nor does it accidentally interact with the screen. The clamp that mounts to the bar consists of a screw that you can easily adjust with your fingers, and the clamp is able to expand a great distance to fit a variety of bar widths! Initially, I thought the design of the clamp was bulky and cumbersome, but after mounting and testing it, I would say that these clamps are extremely sturdy and would not easily break under pressure! When playing with the hinge mechanism that allows the phone to rotate, it takes some grip strength to rotate the mount, which means it is pretty reliable in holding my phone in any position that I want!

Works Perfectly – I actually ordered this as a mount for my ring step lights due to how I needed to mount them on a metal railing. It works perfectly for my needs and I would for sure recommend it for using on a bicycle as well. It is very sturdy and will hold up well.
