Expand Your Accessory Space – This accessory bar provides an accessory mounting location that is large enough for a light, camera, and phone. Far superior to the limited space on the handlebar.

    2. Z. A (verified owner)

Be creative upon install – It is a little cheap in its construction, but it’s $17.

    3. L. C (verified owner)

Very hard to install – I have attempted to attach to my handlebars 3x, the brackets are not user friendly and keep moving. I’m going to keep trying….

    4. G. C (verified owner)

Light yes, but strong? – Very lightweight but so thin it seems flimsy.

    5. E. B (verified owner)

Neither shim works, Hex head stripped getting it tight enough to stay put. – I installed this handlebar extender on a standard, single-speed bike. The thinner shim was too loose. The thicker shim was too tight, making it impossible for the threads to catch. I had to slice up an old inner-tube and use that with the thinner shim. That worked; however, it still moved around on the handlebars. Getting it snug enough to stay put ended up stripping out the hex head on the bolt. On any bolt, the threads should strip before the tool-fitting head does! There is a very precise point on these extenders at which the holes line up and allow the threads to catch. If the jaws that attach to the handlebars are even a millimeter too wide, the threads don’t line up. I’m going to drill out both holes and use a bolt and nut from Home Depot. That will give me some wiggle room with the opening of the jaws. And I’ve never had hardware from Home Depot strip out so easily, so I’ll be able to get them snug. With just a little revision to the design, these handlebar extenders would be great. But mounting them as they are, expect to make a trip to the hardware store, and a lot of sweat on your upper lip!

Good Product – The only reason I gave the product 4 stars is the attachment screws, they are easy to cross thread.

    9. I. B (verified owner)

Kind of a pain to put on – Very very light and was a necessity for the head lights I put on the bike but had to play with the rubbers it came with, kind of a chore but worked fine when finished.

Excellent Handle Bar Extender – I have two Lectric XP e-bikes. While I love the bike, the handle bar is a bit small for everything I would like it to do.
