Great trickle charger for winter storage of cars – I’ve purchased multiples of this charger, including the double-bank charger. I use them for charging lawn tractor batteries and car batteries for cars stored over winter. The trickle charger is self regulating to make sure each battery is given just the right current to maintain it in a good condition. Highly recommended. Extension cables are available (I’ve purchased multiple to allow me to mount the chargers in my garage ceiling and run the cables to anywhere in the garage).

Using on 3 Bikes! – My garage has 3 bikes. One came with a stock battery charge plug (of course, it did not work) and 2 needed a plug installed on the battery. I ended up buying 2 kits and an additional plug for the bike with a faulty stock plug. All 3 plugs work great! The batteries get charged and the tenders turn off when the batteries are full, and if the batteries start to drain then the chargers charge. Simple! Installation of the plugs to the batteries are as easy as they can be. Some bikes have more components to get through in order to access the battery (my Indian Springfield was a nightmare) and some do not. Overall, I could not be happier!

Works great indoors in attached garage – I’m a greenhorn at car-care, but this product was pretty much foolproof! I’m using it to keep the battery topped off for my family member’s car, as she has just had surgery and won’t be driving for 2 months. I do not need it for months and months of storage and maintenance, so the 2018-era reviews complaining about “now it only lasts for one year” after the manufacturer’s move to China, really don’t matter to me!

I had 2 Battery Tenders and used them on the units not being used on separate occasions. because the electronics on my motorcycle are on all the time I use one on it occasionally. I ride it mostly. I finally bought a third tender. If the batteries are good to start with the charge stays good even though they are larger batteries. I have another automatic charger that over charges if left on. I am very happy with the Battery Tender models.

Won’t charge dead car – I bought this without reading the full description. It will not charge a dead car battery. My battery on my car was dead it measured 2V on my volt meter. This charger would not charge it and blinked red no matter what I did. I went to the discount tool store near my house and bought a cheap float charger and it charged my battery over night then plugged this in and it showed solid red meaning it was charging. It seems to be maintaining the charge which is what it’s intended to do. It works fine but if you need to charge a dead car battery there’s a different model for that.

It works on car and is wonderful for rarely used car – I was nervous about getting this as labeled junior. My prior wasn’t junior. My prior charger, (10+ years old) quit staying green in cold weather. At 30 degrees and less, it would go from solid green to flashing green to red and green flash. Wasn’t sure if defective car or charger. Battery only 1 year old when charger behavior began. Hitting second winter for this behavior, so gave the junior a try. Very pleased to see it stay green so as to milk some more time out of my ancient car. It has just been 2 weeks, hope not jinx it. My car spends about 325 days plugged in a year. Crazy, but it is there when I need it, thanks to the charger.
