Great product – I have used this on several long motorcycle rides now and it works great. I already had the plug adaptor hooked to my battery so it was an easy plug in install. I can either tuck the wire inside my jacket if I have my phone in my pocket, to listen to music in my helmet speakers or it easily tucks into the panels on the bike if the phone is in the holder on the bars.

USB-C power sketchy – The regular USB works no problems at all. The USB-C port though while riding doesn’t seem to keep a constant enough power to keep the phone charging continually. Sitting still it’s no problem though.

When you switch the unit “off”, it is off! – While the product comes with minimal instructions for mounting, it does enable you to mount it to an available bolt or screw, if handy, on your motorcycle. Two zip ties (one was included) to zip tie it to your handlebar or another spot if no bolt or screw is in the right position. The part that zip ties, will stay on the bike while you can remove the unit from that mounting part to take with you. On the downside, there is no battery terminal connector so you will either have to buy one with the SAE plug or make one up yourself. I’m sure someone sells them on Amazon. I had bought another unit because it was cheaper and it managed to drain my motorcycle battery in 3 days. It had a very large parasitic draw – about 18 ma – even when switched off. This one, the Batige, actually shuts down completely so no worries about draining your battery if you forget to unplug it as well.
