Bigger than I expected – I was anticipating something that barely fit by big head and allow my glasses to be worn comfortably but it was big enough for my big old head plus a little more room if it were to get bigger. My only issue is the patch of the balaclava that surrounds my mouth was too thin but luckily I unknowingly planned for that contingency and bought a scarf as well to cover my mouth to keep my mouth and chin warm during very cold months.

100% wind protuction but, there is one small negative – I loved how it completely protects you from the wind. Being able to put my hat on over it is great too. I also liked how its still comfortable if you want to pull it of your nose. The only thing is it ptovides no warmth at all. So, even though it blocks the wind from your face. It provides zero warmth.
