Okay, it’s not perfect, but what a relief to be able to let go of the throttle for a few minutes! – You have to remember that this is a throttle lock, not a cruise control. Your speed will vary. The thickness of the pad will determines how hard you have to push to engage it. After a few thousand miles the adhesive on the pad my release the pad might slide and you will have to replace it. BUT, what a relief to be able to take your hand off the throttle for a few minutes. Mine is on a Ural with a sidecar.

Works as described – This device works as described. I have used it on several road trips now and it definitely saves on the wrist fatigue. Turning the throttle up or down slightly while the device is engaged to accommodate hills is very easy and the buttons to set and release work well. It took some time to get used to the buttons but it becomes easy once you use it for a while. (2016 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 – ZX1000M)

It works, but WAY overpriced – Like the headline says, it works. I don’t see how they can justify $145 though. There’s not much material there. I put it on a 2022 Royal Enfield Himalayan and it seems to hold the speed for a few minutes at a time. Vibrations tend to allow the throttle to ease off a little so adjustments need to be made at regular intervals. Not disappointed I bought it, but a bit surprised there’s not more to it for the price.

Works very well. – It is easy to install but you need to read the directions carefully and adjust carefully to allow for proper throttle operation. It’s not an easy ‘plug and play’, but once it’s installed properly it works very well.

Good quality assist. – If you expect this to “lock” your throttle in place, don’t be mistaken. It will not do that. However, it does help on longer rides by reducing the load off of your hand. I use this for highway use between towns. It works wonders. But, it will not lock the throttle in place. Which I am sure was not the intention of the design. It is designed to “assist” and that it does. Very well!

Does it’s job – My bike doesn’t have cruise control. Was going on a long trip and needed a way to rest my hand. Works well enough to buy it again. I did notice that sometimes it didn’t seem to want to hold a super steady speed and would fluctuate up or down a couple mph but I didn’t expect it to be perfect either.

Expensive, but a game changer – Arthritis and carpal tunnel issues made riding my bike a real pain. Within 30 minutes my right hand would be so completely numb that controlling the throttle was iffy. I tried one of the ten dollar versions that simply hold against the brake lever, and while it worked, it was awkward and took too much attention to get it just right. Then I found out there was no good way to snap it off in a hurry when a deer jumps out in the road.

I get a little relief but it is inconsistent when it will hold a speed. – Installation wasn’t hard, except the words they use to describe the parts were never in my lexicon. Once I got it installed I was able to manipulate it just fine with gloved hands. I find it will hold speed “ok” but it really depends on the throttle’s position. Usually I will upshift so the throttle isn’t as twisted and that seems to hold better than higher RPMs. It is nice to be able to hold a 5mph range even for 1/2 mile for a break and I can usually give it a little nudge every now and then to keep speed. It’s easy to engage and disengage.
