ASI Air Seat Passenger Cushion – Received product ahead of schedule. I had watched videos and read reviews on this product so I really had high hopes… The cushion was missing a strap which concerned me at first until I decided to give it a try anyway. I soon figured out straps are pretty much extra and optional. The cushion has a super nice, no slide, non-slip bottom, it adheres extremely well to the motorcycle seat! My husband and I rode about three hours two days in a row. The cushion is super easy to fill with air, however it is very tricky to get adjusted just right. I tried it full, half full and almost empty, with this product I can tell you – Little is more at least in my case. The least amount of air was most comfortable. (about a 1/4 of the way full)

Don’t buy any other air cushion, however, be aware any air cushion changes riding experience. – Out of all the air seat cushion on amazon this one is by far the best. Be aware though that a seat cushion like this will change how riding feels. When i sat down on mine I realized i was raised up about an inch and a half causing me to have to lean a little over to grab the handle bars. This is not a fault by ASI but just a simple result of using any cushion on a motorcycle seat. Also, when stopping and accelerating your butt will move a lot more because you are sitting on what is essentially a group of air bubbles. This means that your seating is a lot less stable. This is less a problem on a cruiser bike as your bike leans left and right a lot less then say an adventure bike tackling some trails. In fact for adventure bike riders i would keep this in your luggage for when you are on a long straight ride because this cushion will prevent any sore butts that may occur from those uncomfortable stock seats but may make tackling trails a little disorienting.

I couldn’t wait to review! – We decided to take a motorcycle adventure from Ohio to Niagara to PA and back. We planned to spend a week on the bike and that made me nervous! I suffer from hypertonic pelvic floor and I broke my tail bone during childbirth, so I usually can make it about an hour on the bike before I get nerve and tailbone pain. We upgraded our bike seat, which made it slightly better, but I knew Id need more so I purchased this seat. I spent days reading reviews and looking at products before deciding to buy this one. It was easy to use, and boy!! was it comfortable! I rode for hours with zero pain and was very impressed. I couldn’t wait to review. We are thinking of getting another for the driver to help with those bumpy roads (we avoided highways as much as possible) but I managed all 5 days with zero complaints! Definitely recommend!!!

Shocks for your booty – I ride as a passenger and I love going out with my husband. Sometimes the ride was tougher than I liked so I bought this. Well worth it! The bumps aren’t as rough and I don’t get as road weary with this. Great investment. Bought the bigger one for my husband.

Ride time has tripled! – Ride time has tripled before getting leg/butt fatigue. Went on a 1400 mile round trip ride this weekend, and my wife didn’t complain about discomfort for about 300 miles. It was great to ride in comfort.

Unreliable strap secure system. Lost product. – The product itself is really well built and useful. Very comfortable for the passenger, however my issue lies with the straps. I got a flat on my bike so i swapped it onto my fiancees bike and installed the straps under the seat as directed, but that didnt stop the straps from unhooking themselves from the cushion which resulted in them being lost on the freeway. Definitely overpriced due to lack of security. Other than that it worked great.
