Not yet ready to replace lead/acid and AGM batteries. – Lithium motorcycle batteries sound like a good idea (because they weigh so little, and there’s no acid, etc.), even though they’re extremely expensive. However, if you live in an area of the world where the temperature drops below 50 degrees F, and you want to start your motorcycle, you’re probably going to be pretty unhappy. I had nothing but trouble with this battery from the start. I seriously doubt that it provides 480 CCA. It failed on me three times after trying to crank my engine for only a few seconds each. The battery literally shuts off, and you either have to press the restart button, or plug it in to a lithium battery charger to “save” the battery and wake it up. It’s ridiculous, and it wastes time. The batteries are very complicated, and have to be charged just so, or they die, permanently, and it’s a paperweight. There is circuitry in the batteries, and they seem just too complicated and delicate. I just want to start my bike and go. So, after over one month of poor cranking, a dying battery, and very hard starts, I gave up and went back to a 220 CCA AGM battery, which cost me less than half what this battery costs. My bike turns over almost instantly now, regardless of temperature, and I have no problems whatsoever.

Great replacement battery – Looked for a longer life battery for the motorcycle. This is a great battery so far. Fits like original. 3x the cranking amps and a higher nominal voltage. The bike loves this thing. Starts like never before. Getting these for every bike i have.

Great battery for 2019 KTM Superduke R – 2 year old OEM battery in the KTM SDR was starting to get weak cranking the beast. It’s a high compression motor and wanted something with high CCA. The AntiGravity lithium battery provides about double the oem CCA for not much more money. First Lithium battery I’ve owned and it feels weightless. Only gripe is its a bit shorter than the oem battery. I had to suspend it to mount the cables, but it’s so light I don’t think it matters.

Make your HD Pan America start everytime! – If your Pan Am doesn’t like to start this ion battery is the answer. Exact fit. Twice the cranking power. Eliminate that starter whine associated with a weak AGM battery. Factory battery literally discharges when it’s not on a charger. My 1st AGM factory went bad after 6 months. Dealer replaced it after 2 weeks I noticed the new AGM replacement would not stay charged. After replacing that one at my expense with Antigravity ATX 12 HD I can park my bike for 2 weeks and no charge is needed to start. I have been replacing all my bikes with lithiums and I won’t go back to lead batteries.

Amazingly light and powerful – I’ve only put 100 miles on the battery, so I can’t speak to longevity. However, compared with my stock Yuasa battery which weighted 12.6 lbs and only had about 220 CCA’s, this new lithium ion battery seems amazingly. First it’s only 3 lbs, which means it’s almost 10 lbs lighter than my old lead-acid battery (major boon for off-road and low-speed riding on a motorcycle). Next, it’s got double the CCA’s so it shouldn’t have trouble starting the bike. And, given I’ve taken to carrying a lithium jump-starter on long trips or adventures off-road, I don’t need to do that now as the “reStart” feature should have me covered. Very excited to see if it performs as promised long-term. I had the same dimensions width/length dimensions as stock battery, but was about 1” shorter, so I used included foam to fit it. Only downside I see is the price.

No more turning over until it dies randomly. – Stock battery on my Iron 1200 was getting weak so it was due for a new one. Figured LithIon was the way to go. And I am beyond impressed with the weight savings, battery power, and the restart button is the cherry on top. I daily my bike so a solid battery is mandatory, this battery is is exactly why I needed.
