Cleans up the rear! – I wanted to clean up the rear end of my bike and this fit the bill. It was not Plug&Play. Had to make modifications on the bike and the unit itself (wires were WAY too short). Looks good though, I must admit! Oh, and there’s no way to use the license plate bracket on American plates without drilling it. Even after drilling, it couldn’t clear the fender so I opted to take it off entirely.

Simple but great value. – Basic, straightforward, clean and simple. Took some creativity to mount, but looks much better than the chunky standard rear fender. Wiring matched up perfectly for my 2002 Buell Blast. Could be brighter, but a great value for the price.

Looks good. Running ligh does not work – Has the look I wanted and wired up easily. The running lights don’t work – only the license tag light works off the running light wire. Everything else works as expected.

Great but not good under heavy rain – Worked well but a rainstorm caused it to no longer work. Buying another one

Nice – Very easy to install if you know General Electric. Looks great both during the day and at night and very easy to see at night. Overall satisfied

Sturdy but NOT WATERPROOF – Overall fit and finish is what I would expect for the price. The metal bracket is much thicker and better than expected which was a nice surprise. This light is in no way shape or form even the slightest bit waterproof or water resistant. No glue or gasket or attempt was made to keep water out of the housing. With enough effort it can be made relatively waterproof but absolutely does not come that way from the battery. Overall brightness is decent enough but could be slightly better. All in all the size, build quality and luminosity make it a keeper for me. I installed this on a Honda Shadow which has had the frame cut off from the battery rearward. Fits and looks great under the seat, which places it slightly above the rear tire making it easily visible from both the sides and the rear of the motorcycle.

Not the best solution – On the positive side, the peice appears well built. Pigtail was long. Doesn’t look particularly water tight though. I have yet to test this. The light output is mediocre but I wasn’t expecting much at this price point. Annoyances are that the lights can’t be flipped due to the hole for wires being off center. Also the horizontal cuts for the license don’t match up with US plates. At least not in Cali. I guess if you have a drill press and some basic metal fab tools you could make this work almost any situation.

Nice touch and easy to modify bracket for custom install – I liked the 2 light compact look of these LEDs and have used them on two recent builds. I modified the included bracket and inverted the lights to mount by cutting off the license plate bracket that is part of this light.
