Turns white – Looks nice when first opened, 1 cruise and it’s starting to turn white, I probably should have got silicone spray before warming. gonna have to switch back to black ( got new studs to install anyway).You do get a good roll for the cost and it did seem to keep the temp down around 10 degrees from my worn out previous wrap.

be prepared to itch – color faded as wrap heated up, wear thick long clothing during install, itches more than insulation

must read – The color faded real quick when I soaked it in water most of the color came out put it on exhaust header and then it turned a trashy white it was blue but now it looks junky pro6 going to take it off o and it has lots of fiber glass an i mean lots I wore plastic gloves an still managed to get fiber glass every were black wrap would be better i bought blue

Easy to wrap – Super easy to wrap and use. I soaked it first in water like everyone says to do. Worked great. I wrapped a down pipe for my turbo and still had some left over for another project. Side note. You’re supposed to spray a silicone sealer after installing. The spray is black. So no need for colored wrap. Boo. 🙁

looses color smokes and smells – I wrapped a 2 into 1 harley Vance and Hines exhaust system with this product. You definitely need to wear a plastic raincoat to protect from all the glass fibers, and a mask and goggles. After installing and idling the motor, the wrap began to smoke like a chimney and continued to do so. After later inspection, the color had almost all been lost from blue to white. I’m on the third day and the wrap still smells and smokes. The included stainless clamps were difficult and loose soon to be replaced by good stainless hose clamps. Yes I did pre-soak in water before wrapping
