Great but cheaply made! – Ok, don’t let the three star review fool you! These are great masks & a great price point! The thing that made me give it a average review as opposed to an above average review was the fact that the goggles are detachable from the mouth guard. Well there are pins or clips that protrude from the mouth portion of the mask when removing. Those pins have broken on two of the 4 masks I have purchased from this manufacturer! Not a good thing! If they designed those clips differently, it would get an above average if not a perfect review! The reason you wear a mask is to protect your eyes & face from debris and or rocks kicked up, insects, dirt, dust, whatever might be flying through the air when riding at fast speeds. I have been hit in the face mask numerous times & not even a scuff has occurred! That’s why I got these! Performance is as expected! Even about a month ago I wrecked & for whatever reason I landed straight on my face! Didn’t put my hands up or turn my face sideways!? My reaction time is a tad bit off these days! Getting old sucks! But fortunately I was wearing this face mask! I hit asphalt people, going about 19-20 mph and nothing on my face was damaged, except my ego! Had a lot of laughs & fortunately I also was able to walk away laughing! So those of you that are saying these masks aren’t meant for collisions or crashes, maybe it depends on what kind of collision or crash we are talking bout, but even the cheapest protection is better than no protection! I promise you that! These are $20 for two! If you can’t afford to purchase these masks then you probably shouldn’t be riding to begin with! This mask is great & serves its purpose! If you are planing on jumping a bunch of busses or racing dirt bikes, get a full face helmet, & skip these. But for everything else, these are ideal! Oh and they do tend to fog up when not moving or riding! Almost forgot that part! But as long as your riding, enough air gets through to keep it a bit cooler and free from fog! Highly recommend except if you are planning on switching goggles with mouth guards, that’s where it gets tricky & that’s where it lost a couple stars. . .
